1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup cool water
6 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350*F. Grease a 9” round cake pan. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl and set aside.
Combine water, oil, vinegar and vanilla in another bowl.
Add liquids to dry ingredients and gently stir until there are no lumps. Pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely and frost it.
