Turkish Style Beef Kebab
1 lb ground beef
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Spices : ground black pepper, salt, paprika, garlic powder, turmeric, onion powder and cumin.
Grate the onion on a box grater or in a food processor. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Put the onion pulp in a bowl with beef and all the spices. Mix all the ingredients well, squeeze mixture to help break beef into smaller pieces. Put the beef mixture onto a skewer and flatten it as you go. Grill over medium high heat, getting nice grill marks, 3 – 4 minutes per side.
